I accidentally washed my other one when it got tangled in the blankets. This remote worked great right out of the box, didn't need to be programmed at all, just pop in the batteries and voila!

This is a great remote control. You need this because if you lose your remote control for Samsung you are COMPLETELY HOUSEHOLD. Since they encrypt remote streams, it means you can't download the OSX/Android app. idiots.

Works great. As long as you're within sight of the TV, there's no problem. However, it does not work as an RF device. What was sent was not the color advertised but I didn't mind too much.

I was able to use the remote immediately after putting in new batteries. The only thing I didn't like was that it was difficult to remove the battery plate to insert the batteries. I had to pry open with a knife, it didn't slide as advertised,

I lost the remote control for my Blu-ray player and was worried I would have to buy a new one. Luckily, when I was looking for a new player, remote controls also showed up. So I bought this remote and it worked right away. That saved me some big $$$. Thank you Revan
