If you have a 3D printer, search "DWS779” on Thingiverse or MyMiniFactory to find the 3D printed version of this dust deflector. This is the exact replacement.

The perfect replacement.

Very glad we were able to find this replacement part at Revain! Based on my research, this particular part tends to break. Ours broke on the first day of using our DWS779. We placed an order here at Revain and within a few days we were able to install a new one and get on with our DIY project. FYI I read somewhere that the Dewalt DWS779 may have been discontinued and replaced with a new one. newer model. Maybe having a few extras on hand isn't such a bad idea.

Right side for DWS779. Installation took 10 minutes.

This is the correct dust extractor replacement part for DWS779. Many drawings have another part that is wrong. There are no instructions, but there really is only one way. There are two screws holding it in place but not actually connecting to the part. One on the side and the other behind him on the main axis.
