I didn't see good quality, solid disadvantages.

I wanted to save money and got it. Savings. And I'm looking for how to set it up! It looks like it doesn't! You can download third party software. (Facecam 1000commes with Tattoo driver 1.0 () - included with Arcsoft MiVE as a replacement for proprietary software - saves camera settings). After 1 year 3 months, the image suddenly became "soapy", the resolution itself changed to below the plinth. I twisted the lens and twisted itcommpletely - a black screen! Dead!

Pros
  • Price! HD720p for 960! Plugged it in and everything works right away. The microphone is excellent.
Cons
  • There is no CD included. However, focus, 3x zoom and face tracking - where? How to manage them? There is no user manual. Manual focus - how to do it? There is no normal setting - everything is default. After the reboot, all Skype settings are reset to the initial ones. The viewing angle is narrow: you need to sit 1-1.5 m from the camera.

I was looking for cheap options for a Skype webcam for a child with a digestible mount on a monitor. Terrible quality, disappointed with the purchase.

Let it sound too emotional, but this is the first time when there was such an unpleasant feeling after the purchase, I even wanted to return it, but, unfortunately, it’s impossible - a technically complex device :( And I read similar reviews before buying, but I met good ones and hoped that the quality of the video will be at least satisfactory, but I can’t call it that.

  • Outwardly, it looks good, takes up a minimum of space, it seems to hold well on the monitor, you can put it on a flat surface. The rest of the cameras for this price are cheap Chinese and most often much larger. With a stretch, you can call the advantage of the ability to adjust the focal length - you need to twist the lens.
Cons
  • Terrible video quality. It is worth starting with the fact that the promised 720p in the captured image does not smell - the interpolation is terrible. The level of shooting is about the same as the cameras on the very first push-button phones with a camera. The image is very dark, increasing the brightness does not help much. I have a camera that at a resolution of 640x480 produces an incomparably better picture, but due to driver problems I can't use it in Skype. I will attach an example of a photo on the camera to the review. Additional drivers for the camera are not provided, because of this, the settings are extremely scarce. Hong Kongission can not be selected anywhere - checked. Perhaps those users who, judging by the reviews, can configure both resolution and zoom have a different version of Windows (I have 7) and the settings are richer there, but we have what it has. And one more minus in the piggy bank - the camera has a very narrow shooting angle, at a distance of 50 cm from the camera to the face, almost only the face is visible in the camera. Here, of course, who cares, but in my opinion the camera should shoot at a larger angle.

Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

I was looking for a webcam for remote lessons in Zoom, my dad advised this one and despite a bunch of negative reviews, we decided to take a chance and buy it (they didn’t risk it in vain). If in doubt - you can buy, you are unlikely to have shortcomings, but if you need a camera with better quality - then this one is unlikely to work, but if for Zoom or for Skype - just right!

There is no declared resolution of 1280x720 at all, the quality is grainy, it also darkens a lot, there are no official drivers, focus adjustment is MANUAL for the lens. I also didn’t like the very small shooting angle - at a distance of half a meter, the interlocutor can only see the face.
