My engine light went out.

I replaced the gas cap first as it was the cheapest fix for the code I got and the check engine light. After replacing the gas cap, the second of the three possible parts was this one and it worked. The seller sent it to me very quickly and the item was new.

Fixed Tighten Gas Cap Warning Light

The Tighten Gas Cap warning light stayed on even though you tightened it several times. I changed the gas cap twice before finding out that the lightbulb is most likely due to this part. 15 minutes, wrenches, a pair of pliers and you're done! There is no more light.

Worked to remove the "Check fuel cap " warning on Honda.

I installed this on my 2009 Honda Pilot to combat the "Check Tank Cap" warning that would not go away. We also tried a new gas cap, but that didn't fix the problem. This purge control valve was easy enough to install and instantly eliminated the "Check Gas Lid" warning light. It has been installed for several months with no problems.
