This is a great addition to protect the door sill and make the car look great. This should be standard on every Accord. There is no need to remove plastic parts and seals from the machine, there are useful videos on YouTube. Would recommend to all Accord owners. It comes with original Honda packaging.

If you look up the installation instructions online, you don't need to remove any trim to install. Bezel removal is only required on lighted versions. These non-luminous ones are simply glued like that. For aesthetic reasons, you may want to read these other instructions to see where the stainless steel pieces line up along the interior trim.
