Genuine Mazda FE02 42 250B Fuel Tank Review

My check engine light came on because my old gas cap wasn't tight enough and was giving me an error code. Replaced the gas cap very easily and haven't had any problems since.

I ended up with some sort of CEL code which I thought was from my worn gas cap. I figured it was time to replace it. Arrived very quickly and fits well. TARGET gone.

This cap is exactly as advertised. I bought this in an attempt to fix the intermittent "Check Engine" lightbulb. While the old cover looked fine, my Check Engine has not lit since installing it.

I can't bring myself to rate Mazda's gas tank 5 stars, but this one seems to last a little longer than the two I threw in the trash on my 2013 MX-5. and my CEL went offline. Fingers crossed it lasted over a year. 10/22/2017 and this lid is ready for the bin. I think I'll order a Stant baseball cap now.
