Nissan 350Z 2003 Fixed my CEL code P0345 (Camshaft Sensor, Bank 2)

I first bought some Autozone sensors for $50 for 3 sensors and had to return them because they didn't do anything. These OEMs got my car running and it works great. OEM is the ONLY WAY. My check engine light, brake light and VDC light came on. P0345 was the code. Good product. all fixed

Pros
  • . Very good value
Cons
  • There are imperfections

I had an intermittent starting problem on my 2003 350z.

I had an intermittent problem with my 2003 350z 6MT that would not start. He twisted and twisted and twisted and twisted, but sometimes he would pull the key all the way out and put it back in, and it would end instantly. I didn't have a check engine light, but after hooking up a code reader, I pulled out a code that showed this baby had failed (codes depend on which sensor failed). I've read a lot and most people seem to be saying that non-OEM sensors are made to a retired specification andโ€ฆ

Works perfectly! at camshaft position

Misleading product. Just send it back to get the same item. They keep sending 23731-AL61D even though the description clearly says it's 23731-AL61A. Looks different than the picture and is chrome plated instead of black. UPDATE: Works fine now. The next day the car started and it worked. I reset my ECU, did a few runs and it feels better than before. This works on my 2004 Infiniti G35. Presumably the D version replaces the A version I want (as this car requires it and is advertised on thisโ€ฆ

OEM - the only way

OEM - the only way. I bought some cheap sensors off ebay for about $20 each. After some research I realized this was a bad idea and as everyone says they soon disappeared. 2004 G35. This is one of three sensors that fail on VQ engines. There are 2 cam sensors (one on each side to the rear of the engine. They can be accessed without removing any parts other than the engine cover) and 1 crankshaft sensor under the car. Crankshaft sensor P0335, camshaft P0340. Do yourself a favor, replace allโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Genuine Nissan Frontier Camshaft Sensor

My camshaft sensor on the passenger side on my 2005+ 4.0L V-6 Nissan Frontier. This caused my truck to downshift and then upshift and hit 70 mph. After that my truck felt like it was running on 3 cylinders, there was NO power at all. At this point the Check Engine and SLIP lights came on. I hobbled home, installed an OBD-II scanner and found that the passenger side camshaft sensor was faulty. I ONLY buy genuine Nissan electronic parts because I've never had much luck with aftermarket brandsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Superb Design
Cons
  • Style 90

This is an OEM brand and REQUIRED.

Car: 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe A/T Symptoms: Engine stalls spontaneously on road, VDC error message appears on monitor screen, SLIP OFF on dash gauge, hard start after engine stops. I went the cheap route first and bought three $10 sensors (1 crank and 2 cams) off eBay. I paid a mechanic to replace them and the car kept doing the same symptoms. I finally went the OEM/expensive route and bought this sensor directly here from Revain, now all symptoms are gone. I really wanted to test these sensorsโ€ฆ
