Review on πŸ“‘ Genuine Nissan 23731-AL61A Sensor for Camshaft Position by Mike Hicks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is an OEM brand and REQUIRED.

Car: 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe A/T Symptoms: Engine stalls spontaneously on road, VDC error message appears on monitor screen, SLIP OFF on dash gauge, hard start after engine stops. I went the cheap route first and bought three $10 sensors (1 crank and 2 cams) off eBay. I paid a mechanic to replace them and the car kept doing the same symptoms. I finally went the OEM/expensive route and bought this sensor directly here from Revain, now all symptoms are gone. I really wanted to test these sensors thoroughly before writing a review. It's been 3 days since I installed the OEM and I've been running errands, going to school and working with no problems WHAT EVER! Man, I'm sorry to tell you this, but you should buy OEM when it comes to these sensors for this particular vehicle. Don't pay for the labor cost of installing cheap sensors. you won't win If you or a mechanic do this job, the green connectors attached to these sensors will also break. They are painful to remove, but they break during the removal process. You can still use them, but you may need high temperature silicone glue to be applied to the outside to prevent the connector from slipping out due to normal engine and road vibration.
