Genuine OEM Stinger Lettering Emblem Badge: Perfect Fit for 2017-2019 Kia Stinger Review

Looks great on my 2019 Stinger GT2, perfect for getting that perfect line in under 30 minutes. I can confirm you will have no problem, LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKES ON MY CAR!

The emblem itself looks great even though it was broken in 2 places. I've read the reviews other people have written about this. I gave him an injection and he was caught. However, it was also sent in an envelope. Common sense would be to buy it boxed. But hey, you get what you pay for.

Original part, arrived quickly. The same product is available from other suppliers at a much higher price. I painted mine matte black and used a foam stencil to level and press down. They don't have clips on the back like the front and rear OEMs. Before installing, I filled the regular holes with silicone. This will make the back of the spike look much better.

The badge was original OEM so the quality is what you would expect from Kia. Easy to install, I didn't need anything special to align it as there are enough control points on the hatch itself to align it. Used fishing line and WD 40 to remove the old badge and then filled the holes with regular bathroom silicone. Came packaged in a Revain box wrapped in air filled packaging pads.

So I pulled it out of my bag (identifiable by an original Stinger OEM sticker) - started spray painting MATT Black paint (fire my boy) and noticed that it was gone. 3m stripe on the back. It's a sticky material that feels bad. BUT!. Once sprayed and peeled off the backing paper it sticks pretty well. Make sure it is straight when you place it on the word (STINGER) as there is a notch between the middle of STIN and GER which can cause it to sag slightly.

This particular Stinger badge is the second I've bought in a week. The first was from a different directory. I installed it and was a bit off center so I bought it. I immediately noticed two things that were different from the first one I bought. First, it is in a foam template that helps determine the best and correct placement. The template is huge!
