Genuine Subaru 34439FG000 O Ring Connector Review

Perfect for my 2009 Legacy 2.5L non-turbo. The power steering was very noisy, especially in cold weather. The liquid was also foamy. This inlet o-ring was a perfect fit and it took me 2 minutes to replace it. Old black, new orange.

I was certain I needed to replace the steering pump due to the noise coming from the steering. I saw a youtube video and found out that this little o-ring would help - works great! Spent $5 and saved hundreds

My Legacy 08 has a weird, unpredictable steering feel. I've scoured the net and found that the o-ring could be the culprit. It was a little difficult to install and bleed the system properly, but once I did the steering was back to normal!

I ended up putting a couple of these on a 2005 Forester XT to keep it from sucking air but it worked. I tried many port sizes but these were the only ones that really worked. Be careful when installing, they can be easily pinched. *Hondas are the same and slightly cheaper.

Installed a few days ago in 2016 WRX STI. My problem was a high pitched rumble when turning the steering wheel. I understand it's the o-ring or the power steering pump. I installed a new o-ring and replaced the power steering fluid and that fixed the whirring noise issue. No need for a new pump. The car is good to drive. The O-ring fits perfectly.
