Always choose OEM with ball joints

Too many scary stories about cheap ball joints failing. OEM parts are the way to go as long as they are not heavily modified or require special customization.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I'm worried

OEM TOYOTA in Ball Joints

Genuine Toyota Part. Tried with Mevotech. They only lasted 2 years and 25,000 miles. Use genuine Toyota parts for ball joints and tie rods. They cost more, but you'll only get the job done once. 2000 4runners.

Pros
  • Elegant Design
Cons
  • Suitable for

Good long term update

Came back to change my review after 3 years of hard riding and off road. I originally gave them a bad review for sending me the wrong parts, but that was fixed pretty quickly. Over 3 years later and lots of ground trios and hard hits these ball joints are still solid. Top quality and very satisfied.

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Not bad

Lock nut and cotter pin NOT INCLUDED?!

This is a genuine Toyota part that fits the lower ball joints on my 4Runner and is currently one of the best deals I have found online. However, when I received the part, I found that the OEM packaging had been cut open and the castle nut and cotter pin removed. are also visible in the picture so I was disappointed to see that they were left out and the photo misled me. Nuts and bolts can be bought from the dealer for just a few bucks so I don't think it's worth returning the product and buying

Pros
  • Great Selection
Cons
  • So So
