Originally needed to replace a screw that was missing on one side of the air box on my used 2010 Toyota Venza. Replaced both as the one I could see was a bit rusty. Both bolts and nuts fit perfectly. After both sides of the airbox were properly tightened for the first time since buying the car, my fuel economy improved significantly. The parts were original and inexpensive. They have been lost and have been replaced with normal nuts and bolts during the last maintenance (reminder: always check the work, even at the dealer). Pressing down on the power tool firmly with a small wrench may pop the nuts out of the bottom of the airbox housing. They will disappear to the same size as socks and 10mm rosettes and never be seen again. These special nuts and bolts make it easy to properly tighten the air cleaner housing, so I feel the cost and convenience over regular nuts…

my mechanic lost the base and didn't tell me anything. They decided to just put a standard hex head bolt and nut on my 2006 Sienna's air filter housing. I found the right product and it worked. You need to insert the bottom part first, then insert the screw from the top without the top plastic case. Once the hex screw is secured, use moderate force to pull it out to set the bottom section in place. The bottom part MUST snap into place first. At this point, be sure to hold the bottom of the case
