Amazon is marked as genuine Vizio remote and the remote works except it doesn't have wifi module like the original remote and you can clearly see it's cheaper and from behind there is a cover with the battery cover open. The "real" Revain is on the left and the original remote that came with my TV is on the right.

The real XRT510 connects to an M Series TV via Wi-Fi. This remote does not pair, which means it is a universal IR remote only. He's well built and looks real, but he's not real. 3D TVs don't work well with RF remotes, so the real Vizio remote connects to Wi-Fi. It's a good IR remote, but if you want a real remote, look elsewhere.

What was in the picture was not what it looks like when open. But it works fine. And it looks just like the one I got when my TV was new. This image looks smoother - blacker and rounder. In any case, it works the same as the old one. Looks the same as the old one. What if you have a Vizio, you know they're not exactly known for good quality remotes.

This remote was no better than the one I replaced it with. I suspected it wasn't. My experience with Vizio TVs so far is that the TV is good but the remote control is very poor quality. As with this remote, the backlight comes on and stays on. The only way to get the remote to work is to take the battery out and put it back in. When the backlight turns off, the remote control will still work for a while. This process has to be repeated over and over again.

This item never worked, I have to keep removing and putting the batteries back in just for the remote to work, after almost 5 minutes of non use the remote just won't work unless I do this. I emailed the seller whose only advice is a YouTube video on how to reset the remote, which I've done countless times and it still doesn't work. They send me back to Amazon as they do the shipping. Do not buy from this seller unless you want a defective item.

This one arrived around September 1st 2016 and worked just like the one that went into our house. It has worked flawlessly until today, 11/03/2016. We paid about 26.50 for it and it suddenly stopped working. The batteries have been replaced, it still lights up but no longer works. I've read many other reviews here on Revain about the same thing. It's too late to turn back now. (?) Not that I want another one of these as it's only been running for a few months.

I read the reviews and ordered anyway. I'm already having some of the same issues as the original remote that came with the TV. Sometimes it just doesn't work - you have to take the batteries out and put them back in - then it works. A little disappointed with the quality of this remote control.
