Do not buy zipper issues

It has a Velcro to keep the zipper up but it doesn't lock in place and as soon as he jumped in it came apart. These are people's life's your messing with!Make a safer product! B S!

Did the Trick: my feedback

This product did the trick for a day at the water park. Fit my daughter well and wasn’t too bulky. It is not us coast guard approved.

Pros
  • Good quality and nice looking.
Cons
  • The vest may be too bulky for some children

Great Swim Vest best in my review

So first, important to know what this is not. Nothing on the packaging or description suggests that this is a USCG approved lifesaving/floatation device approved for boating. So that's not why I bought it.I bought it to keep my 1 year old safe in our local pool and a small lake (that has an artificial "beach") near our home. For those purposes, it's fantastic. I looked at several vests to find one that would fit, and ordered him this in small. (He's currently about 31 inches and >25 lbs). It…

Pros
  • ‎12.96 x 12.6 x 1.97 inches
Cons
  • The vest may not be suitable for use in diving

Sizing is tricky on my review.

My daughter is 23 lbs and this is still slightly too big.will be great in the future but for now, it’s too loose in the shoulder area and slides up too close to her chin.

Pros
  • The vest is designed to be easily adjustable, allowing it to grow with your child and ensure a perfect fit throughout the years
Cons
  • The Genwiss Toddler Swim Vest may not be flame-resistant

Exactly what was needed

3.5 year old granddaughter is no longer afraid to get in the water. The vest was comfortable and she enjoyed the freedom it gave her to swim. Definitely boosted her confidence.

Pros
  • Very satisfied with the vest. My granddaughter loves to wear it
Cons
  • The sizing may not be accurate for all children

Well made!: my feedback

Well made and fits as described. Bought for my twin grandsons that are 19 months old, 25 and 26 pounds. Highly recommend.

Pros
  • Works great
Cons
  • It may not fit children who are larger than the recommended weight range

unsure about safety

These looked the most comfortable and stylish, which is why I bought them, but after putting one on my daughter I realized that all of the blocks are around the midsection, not so much the upper body. I'm concerned about her falling into the water upside down and getting stuck that way. I also just read reviews saying that people's kids are being tipped forward while wearing these, which makes sense. AND in the q&a it says that they're not even coast guard approved, which also makes sense. I'm…

Pros
  • Good quality
Cons
  • The material may irritate children's skin

Broke in a few weeks

We have had this life jacket for two months. It is comfortable for our one year old to wear but does not keep her head from going in the water. The zipper also just broke off of it and can’t be fixed.

Pros
  • Haven’t use it yet but love the paneling on the inside!
Cons
  • The vest may not be suitable for use in deep water

Great for it’s purpose and cute!

Cute and does it’s job to give her some buoyancy - offering me some help while I hold her. It does ride up on her a bit but the next size would be too small. Same for my boy that has the next size up even though they are very different body types. It would be nice if they had a way to adjust the fit instead of only a zipper. Maybe a band or two inside that adjust with a button? That would be helpful. overall great little best. Much better than life jacket if the goal is swimming with a parent…

Pros
  • Water Sports
Cons
  • The vest may be too heavy for some children

Amazing jacket!: my feedback

Best swim vest. 2 year old no swim experience and this jacket keeps her head out of water and allows her to practice swimming motions. 10 out of 10 recommend

Pros
  • After use, rinse in fresh water and clean the buckle(remove salt and sand).Hand to dry for 48 hours in a well-ventilated palce.Do not dry near heat source.Store in a dry place.
Cons
  • The vest may not be suitable for use in chlorinated water

Not a great design on my review.

The zipper on the front of the jacket is easy to unzip. My toddler quickly figured out how to unzip and step out of the life jacket. Could use a few buckles on front or a zipper in the back. We tried having him wear it backwards once, but that would just flip him onto his face if he slipped.

Pros
  • ‎Neoprene
Cons
  • The vest may not provide enough protection from the sun's harmful rays
