Fast work when planting onions!

This article helped me plant over a hundred bulbs quickly. At first I had a bit in our cordless drill, it was ok at best. After the battery died I decided to put the bit in the drill we have. Doesn't matter! It cuts through roots and hard ground like nothing else. Whilst I naturally love it for planting bulbs it's also great for the annuals which come in these 6 packs it's the perfect size for that.

Pros
  • Drill Bit
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Quality and works well for power tools and hand tools

I like it. Works as stated. Great if you have a good drill to use. My neighbor said he bought one but prefers the larger size. I agree but didn't want to spend extra money. It works very well as is, perfect for the peat and moss starter plugs I use. Very happy with my purchase. It is a good idea to walk along the edges of the hole several times to allow the roots to grow into the uncompacted soil. Fun, easy and fast. This makes landing much easier.

This is a bulb planter

I used this to drill a hole for a fence post. It worked perfectly in the top layer of soil down to the depth of the chisel. When he hit the clay, he stopped with difficulty and stopped at the first stone. Color has faded from the top but otherwise in good condition. Starter to finish with a pole excavator like I did today. Overall it seems well made and for loose soil or maybe more compacted soil without rocks it seems like a winner.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Some small items
