This is a very good monitor, but I gave it three stars because the box was missing items, including the user manual, display port adapter, and the power cord itself. It included power cords. Unfortunately, while the monitor works great and looks great, it has serious firmware issues, particularly with regards to the standby mode. It often won't go to sleep, staying on with a blank screen and indicating it's receiving a video signal when it isn't. Changing some settings will prevent this in most cases, but it still happens. Displayport No signal; Changed the connections and replaced the plugin with my GPU. Replaced the monitor thinking it was just a 1 in 1,000,000 defect and had no luck, the second monitor had the same issue; Is there a problem with replacing links when troubleshooting. If you're buying a monitor that's over $300, I recommend skipping this option. It's a good concept, but it got off to a bad start and I probably won't buy a Gigabyte-branded monitor in the future.

Pros: Works well for my use - mostly works with some games. Supports high refresh rate. The extra screen real estate is worth it. The screen is bright and the colors seem pretty good. Cons: Poor speakers - this could be due to my monitor not being supported by a wall to reflect sound, but the included 2W speakers suck. Screen leaks around the edges are noticeable in dark environments.

I bought this monitor for $290 and it is a great value. Hit 144Hz and 1440p. The colors of the IPS panel are vivid and the whites are really vibrant. Lots of options to customize the display to your liking. The only downside is that I get some flare in the corners, but I never notice it unless the screen is black. In the state of delivery, the color seemed a bit lifted and oversaturated with red. This could have been tuned better, but I didn't do a full calibration to take care of it. My first Gigabyte G27Q had 8 cracked subpixels closer to the center of the screen, which manifested itself in the first few hours of use - in the attached image the cross is my mouse cursor. It was pretty disappointing to have dead pixels but I was able to get the monitor replaced for free. It has no dead pixels so far and no issues other than some decent backlight bleeding. But at $290 I can't compare it to my $100 more expensive LG, I'd say it's worth it for the price. 5 stars given the value. Edit after 5 months: 1 dead pixel and annoying that the backlight doesn't turn off automatically when the computer sleeps. Still 5 stars for the price.

I had an Acer Predator XB271HU bmiprz as my primary monitor and a 1080p monitor as my secondary monitor, with new AMD GPUs coming out I wanted Freesync or gsync Ultimate Monitor technology to be available. The Gigabyte monitor is my main monitor now, it's brighter and has a faster pixel response time than the Acer and FreeSync works fine with my 1080ti GPU.

The picture quality is not to be commended in my opinion. I'm not very technical when it comes to monitors, but I think I get the basics. I'm playing on an Xbox One x and oddly the Xbox or monitor can even recognize 4K even though the monitor says it's a 1440p monitor. But I've still had good experiences with it. Recommended if you find it at a good price!

I was looking for a monitor for an Xbox Series S and the G27Q was a perfect fit. The first 6 weeks or so were pretty good with this monitor. Pretty mad. It should be new and you can tell it's used. The labels are peeling off and there are 2 nicks on the back as if someone tried to open the back.

There are no complaints about my model, I've been using it for 2 weeks, the screen is super smooth and works as advertised.

I use this monitor for daily work and some gaming. For the most part it works great. However, the monitor does not go to sleep when my computer does. Once the computer goes into sleep mode, the monitor remains fully lit. I wish there was a way to fix this and if there was I would give this product 5 stars.
