It's about Xbox Series X compatibility. I did a lot of research and chose this monitor over a 4k gaming monitor because I needed 120 fps which a 4k monitor couldn't deliver. With the Xbox Series x, if you try to calibrate it to run at 120fps, you can't have it at 1440p as well. So it downgrades to 1080p. The build quality is solid and the packaging is very well made, which saved my monitor from being bumped against the box during shipping. The monitor itself is as advertised. 1440p at 144Hz at a very reasonable price, but don't let the price fool you. It's bright, clear and will last a long time barring any unexpected manufacturing issues.

This is the first gaming monitor I've bought brand new and I can definitely see the benefits of higher FPS. I switched to this monitor from 4K UHD 60Hz and have no complaints. Easy to assemble and connect. would recommend.

The settings are a little tricky to figure out, but once you do, you'll be hard pressed to find a better gaming monitor at this price point. I bought two and wish I had bought three.

I bought this from an Amazon warehouse like other things I've had before and it arrived in perfect condition. Unfortunately, DEATH arrived. Only the black screen and the indicator light come on. I bought two of these monitors in March 2021, it is now August 2021 and there is already noticeable backlight blurring on the top of the monitors, a very frustrating issue that ruins an otherwise good monitor.

After finding another power supply, I was able to turn on the monitor, the screen itself is good, bright enough and with decent colors, everything is fine on it, but now I can't install it on the stand. Finally, Revain didn't help me get the rest of the items.

I'm really stunned how it can go and how people give good reviews about the display when 2 key features don't work: - The app you can run on your PC to interact with the OSD doesn't work on computers with more than 1 monitor, and Gigabyte told me they have no plans to fix this. PIP/PBP is a feature with instructions on how to use it, but not an actual option in the OSD, and the OSD companion app just doesn't do anything when you try to enable PIP/PBP, and Gigabyte's own support doesn't say…

Everything is very good except what I ordered was a dead pixel. They exchanged it for me, a pixel was also broken during the exchange. My first had one stuck on green and the other had one stuck on black in different areas of my monitor. I would not recommend this monitor, dead pixels seem to be a fairly common problem and trying to contact gigabyte was 2 an hour on session break not speaking to anyone.
