Attention headphone users!

On this motherboard, the noise level on this motherboard has risen from normal volume levels to volume levels several orders of magnitude above painful levels several times in the last week, with no warning or volume change requested by the user. Sometimes it's ok for a few days, sometimes restarting several times doesn't fix the sound. I'm using the latest drivers and BIOS, this happens on Windows 10 and Linux (Fedora); At this point I'm almost convinced it's a hardware issue with the sound…

Pros
  • Satisfied for now
Cons
  • Upgradable

Can the product be big? to know more. However, Revain is not.

The product was sent in a retail box, with a label on the outside, the retail box wasn't even sealed with tape, everything seems to be there? I'll know for sure when I try to install. Pay nearly $500 and ship it in unsealed retail packaging with a sticker attached. INADMISSIBLE!

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • I don't remember

Overall a great motherboard with a few performance flaws.

On the surface is a good board. Excellent power delivery and good PCIe lane placement. I would have preferred it to be a workstation board with one 16x lane and a set of 8x lanes, but I knew that before I bought it. It loses two stars for the following reasons: - There is no option in BIOS to disable Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and onboard audio. Embedded audio uses a kind of dual USB implementation that doesn't work at all on Linux. It would be nice if I could change the big bright orange LED right on…

Decent workstation board for small business

4 months use with an AMD 3970x Threadripper processor with Noctua cooling and 256GB RAM. Transferred NVME sticks and hard drives from x570 Aorus Master to it and after some driver updates and a reboot it worked fine. The only thing that has given me trouble is a Sabrent NVME PCIe Gen 4 flash drive that has been practically lame for almost a year and I will probably never buy a Sabrent drive again. I do a lot of CAD, Mesh and CFD work and sometimes they use all 32 cores and sometimes swap memory

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Well designed motherboard

I love this motherboard. It's well thought out and easy to set up. So far there have been no problems with stability (under load, without overclocking). Pros: 1. 2 PCIEx16 slots spaced far enough apart so you can place your graphics card well below the CPU while still allowing smooth airflow2. Relatively quiet, although the mainboard has its own fan3. The heatsinks on the M.2 slots work well and have their own conductive foam4. Motherboard power button + LED codes make debugging easier from the
