I bought these 5 packs because they seemed like great value but when I used them in my Raspberry Pi and updated the software some of the update files reported data corruption or data loss. My 32GB Samsung cards had no issues, as did my 8GB Transcend. I tried the first Gigastone card twice, then the second card from the order with the same results.

I only started using these memory cards in September 2021. They are used in the security cameras I use outdoors, replacing memory cards that last 5 years in outdoor conditions. Outside conditions range from -20°F to 100°F and while they won't be exposed to direct rain or snow, they will experience some of that. That devices used indoors were used outdoors for 5 years amazed me. If these memory cards last 5 years I will be very happy.

I need a micro SD card for my Roku 3 and Roku only uses 2GB of memory no matter how much memory the card has. It was the best combination of price and storage for my needs, plus a full size SD card adapter is included so this memory card can be used in a full size SD slot. I'm not sure about Roku, but I've seen hardware situations in the past where high capacity memory cards would cause errors and the device wouldn't work until the card was removed.

After these 32GB cards arrived I decided to format each card at a low level to make sure they all worked. I'm sure I'm glad I did. While four cards were formatted to full capacity, one was not. I have performed a full format on this card three times and it has always given me the same results. I've reformatted a few others more than once and they worked as expected every time. It seems that only one card out of five is broken. I've also noticed that the same dubious card isn't always recognized

The USB adapter used makes a big difference in speed. I first tested this card with a USB 2 adapter, which showed around 20MB/s. Pretty good, but far from the advertised 90 MB/s. But when I switched to the new USB 3 mSD memory card adapter, the average read speed increased to 68MB/s.
