Unimpressive Tripod Experience

The tripod I purchased from this brand was very disappointing. According to my experience, the build quality was not up to par and the stability was questionable. I tried using it for my electronics equipment but found that it couldn't hold up the weight as well as other tripods I've used. The only positive aspect was the color, but that doesn't outweigh the cons.

Pros
  • Extremely sturdy and durable, capable of handling heavy professional camera equipment.
Cons
  • Significantly more expensive than other tripod options on the market.

Serious? $100?: camera and photo

The whole tripod is $650 and you want $100 for a small round piece of metal? This makes me seriously consider working with another tripod manufacturer that doesn't extort spare parts from their customers.

Pros
  • Includes hooks to add weight for more stability
Cons
  • Some cons

Works better than the original but needs a longer set screw.

Despite another review saying it didn't fit the Series 3, I installed it today on a Series 3 Systematic 3541XLS and it fitted perfectly. However, there is a downside. This means the grub screw is very short, and although it makes contact with the underside of the Arca Swiss Z1 pan head, it simply pushes the head up and away from the non-slip rubber that sits atop the flat top plate. The only solution I see is to drill a hole in the base of the Z1 cone head and put in a longer set screw. This…
