It was pretty easy to install. And it works as it should. I imagine it like this. But that other review is correct, it makes an ungodly loud high-pitched screech when the truck is on. It's so annoying.

It worked like a charm, my 2001 Chevy S10 had an issue while driving, it suddenly shut down out of nowhere and then took some time to boot back up I guess I The fuel pressure wasn't enough so I replaced the pump and filter and now it runs like a champ

Seems to work well but makes a consistent high pitched sound which the truck never made before I put it on. Also failed to install one of the plastic fuel line clamps and had to use the old one. The noise it makes is pretty annoying. I even hear it while driving, but especially when I'm standing outside next to a car. I want to tell this thing to shut up.

This was my first American truck that I worked on. I usually drive Mercedes, BMW and Range Rover. I was a little confused about the plastic clips as they are not used on German cars. Instead of reusing the original 20 year old plastic clips, a new, fresh kit was sent out with the filter. The whole job took about 20 minutes. Now that I know how they work, I can make the next one in 10 minutes.
