Love this product in my review

I really like this product. I’ve been using it for several years. It sticks to everything. And doesn’t cling to itself when your trying to use it

Pros
  • I use this product for so many things ( especially when making lunches for school)
Cons
  • the product does not come in a variety of sizes

Multiple uses for my opinion

I love this wrap. I happened to run across this item on Best Buy, and I thought I would try it out for wrapping holiday decor that was too big to put in a box or a storage tub. I love this wrap! I wrapped a Halloween witches broom, and it worked out perfectly! Saved me from needing to purchase a large storage tub.I will be using this wrap for storing away a lot of Holiday decor. I'm so glad I found this. It works well, sticks good, so it doesn't come unwrapped like normal cling wrap.

Pros
  • Keeps food fresh and delicious for longer
Cons
  • the wrap often allows air to seep through, causing food to spoil

Not Like Regular Saran Wrap This Works

I love this stuff, it actually sticks to what it is supposed to, not like regular Saran Wrap at all. Great for freezing food too.

Pros
  • Can be used to line shelves or drawers for easy cleaning
Cons
  • the product is not available in some stores

Stays Tightly Attached

I will never use saran wrap plastic again. This product does not have an odor to it like some wraps do, and works wonderfully. I only wish they would make it in smaller widths as well.

Pros
  • MULTIPURPOSE PLASTIC WRAP: Glad Press'n Seal Food Wrap is comparable to traditional aluminum foil wrap and can create custom shaped bags, tops and lids, perfect for freezing, stacking and storing
Cons
  • the wrap often becomes wrinkled and unusable after one use

Teriffic product! best in my review

So easy to take off roll unlike plastic wrap but more expensive. A friend told me she used this to wrap her bandaged arm after surgery to keep it dry when showering and it worked!

Pros
  • Suitable for all types of food, including acidic foods
Cons
  • the product often contains extra packaging, contributing to environmental waste

THE BEST STUFF EVER MADE

The best wrap ever made! It doesn't do that great with plastic bowls but is great with glass bowls, you can turn a glass bowl of anything upside down with this stuff on it, snake it & it will not budge but the perfect use, I've found, is saving part of a fruit or veggie, it binds to it's self & makes anytbing keep twice or more as long, it's perfect for keeping part of an onion in the refrigerator, I don't have to worry about it smelling up the refrigerator & everything in it!

Pros
  • Durable and tear-resistant
Cons
  • the wrap cannot be used to cover food outside

Local stores are out of this!

Love this press & seal stuff. It is the answer to the endless battle with lost Tupperware covers. It's one of those kitchen items I tell my kids they can't live without (this and parchment paper).

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • the wrap cannot be used to cover hot dishes

Glad Plastic Wrap best in my review

This is a big problem with these types of Wraps. It is hard to tear them from the package without the wrap being stuck together.

Pros
  • Clings tightly to bowls, plates, and containers
Cons
  • the wrap often clings to gloves, making it difficult to handle

Stuck to itself in packaging

I used it to wrap pumpkin bread for a bake sale. It was really hard to work with. It was sticking so hard to the roll. It was hard to unroll without damaging itself. I wonder if it was left in a hot area. I've used this same brand before and it was excellent.

Pros
  • My sister always used this so I gave it a try! Why did it take me so long? Great hold!
Cons
  • the wrap can easily become tangled and difficult to use

Good for the most part

Great for sticking and adhesion but bad for leaving sticky residue thats hard to remove. Also its hard to cut with the box

Pros
  • 70441
Cons
  • the wrap is not safe to use with certain types of containers

Great for Food and Bandages

My family has used Press N Seal for a long time for food storage and it always works and keeps things closed (when properly applied).A less typical use for Press N Seal is for large or awkwardly placed wounds. When a family member got cancer a nurse recommended we used it to cover a chest terminal. It works very well on skin in combination with gauze. I have also used it on large cuts/wounds and it is more cost effective than the clear waterproof bandages. But I can't say whether or not it is…

Pros
  • Love it for wrapping fresh or cooked foods for use later. Freezes good and microwaves good!
Cons
  • the wrap is not durable enough to withstand freezing temperatures

Dependable plastic wrap.

I believe that I prefer this "clinging” plastic wrap over regular plastic wrap. It’s great for general refrigerator use as well as in the microwave.

Pros
  • Highly rated by customers and recommended by top chefs
Cons
  • the product has a negative impact on the environment

Full disclosure: I used this for my chick brooder.

I have no clue how effective this product is in the kitchen, but it saved my sanity while brooding newborn chicks!I applied it to the top of a towel-wrapped heating pad which was supported by a hardware cloth 'cave', an alternative to heat lamps when raising chicks. Of course, they want to get on top of the device like they would on a mama hen. Poop ensues, mess is had, cleaning is a pain in the butt. Not so with this stuff stuck on top of the brooder pad! Chick poop frikkin SLIDES right off of…

Pros
  • Protects food from freezer burn
Cons
  • the wrap isn't as effective as reusable containers for storage

I like this product. Haven't had to order in a while.

When the item was delivered it was in an envelope, which crushed the box and has made it difficult to dispense the sheet from the roller.

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • the product is too thin to hold up to heavy foods

Saves a trip to the store

I liked that the price wasn't way more than what it is in Target. I'm starting to like this more than traditional plastic wrap. It doesn't get stuck when you don't rip it off at the perfect angle and is just easier to handle.

Pros
  • Can be used to cover pans and dishes for easy transport or storage
Cons
  • the product is not suitable for use with hot liquids

but it is almost like wax paper

Takes a little getting used to, if you are used to plastic wrap. I think this actually gives a tighter seal than that type of wrap, but it is almost like wax paper, and you have to take the time to really mold the seal properly. It does not hold as tightly when reused. I honestly just wanted to try it; I think I will probably go back to Saran-type cling wrap.

Pros
  • This is the best food wrap. It stays in place and is easy to unroll and cover food.
Cons
  • the wrap is not cost-effective compared to other alternatives

What did I do before Press'n Seal was invented? .

What did I do before Press'n Seal was invented? It's been around long enough that I likely don't need to sing its praises to you, but if you're haven't used it and you're on the fence, do yourself a favor and buy a roll. If you need to get and and out of a container in your fridge repeatedly, regular Saran Wrap is still the stuff for you (and I always have a roll of it in pantry too), but if you need to stack light containers which are plastic-wrapped, or if you need to travel, this is what you

Pros
  • FOOD PLASTIC WRAP: Glad Press'n Seal Food Wrap comes packaged with a built in wrap cutter, is BPA free, microwave-safe and provides a versatile plastic wrap for all kitchen and household needs
Cons
  • the wrap often becomes tangled in the box, wasting product

Better than cling wrap

I work in a laboratory. We seal open containers and tubes with a product called parafilm. It's amazing and will seal anything! Sadly they don't sell parafilm in wide sheets for home use (not that I've seen), but this is somewhat similar. It's a little stretchy, and a little sticky. You can use it to seal things that regular cling wrap won't stick to. And you will get a tighter seal than just covering with foil.

Pros
  • Like how you can use it on multiple things in the kitchen and it always sticks !
Cons
  • the cling is not strong enough to keep the wrap in place

Versatile and easy to use!

This stuff is a great alternative to cling wrap and MUCH easier to use! It’s not amazing at keeping food fresh when sticking it to a container but when you stick it to itself it is much better at sealing. My favorite use for press and seal is to protect flooring when painting a room!

Pros
  • Useful in the kitchen. Does its job.
Cons
  • the wrap is not transparent enough to see food through it
