I don't rate anything. I'm an old man living alone and I always have leftovers. I also like to cook onions, carrots, celery, etc. ahead of time so I can cook them later. I'm so impressed that I'm ordering a larger set and plan on tossing all the old plastic junk out of the closet. I will enjoy them and then later my heirs can fight for them! So that!

If it wasn't for the lids I would give it a 5. I bought five for my lunch at work 6 months ago. The size is perfect. Just enough space for a decent lunch. So far 3 out of 5 lids have a broken vent cap. It's really weak. I'm very disappointed because now the food just flows out of the hole in the top. That's really bad, because otherwise I really like these containers. I would not buy them again and look for better ones. Sigh.

I love everything about the design and size except for the vent cover. The plastic air vent is very flimsy and broke after first use on 2 of the 6 I bought (I bought 2 sets). If your only intention is to keep food upright in the fridge, this is a 5 star product. However, if you intend to carry it in a backpack or other carrier where it may not sit flat, it will leak out through the vent. I originally wrote a negative review in December 2018 after one of the containers cracked after first use despite being very careful with it. I didn't expect them to last long. Since then, however, only one other has broken off and is still usable, and overall they have been very useful. I don't think containers can't have that vulnerable edge on the rim because that's where the snap-on lid sticks. This is something prone to chipping. Anyway, I'm changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars…

I bought these hoping to switch from plastic to glassware. Everything about these tanks is great except for the vent button. Of the 6 containers, 3 have lost the vent button meaning the lid has a hole making it unsuitable for storing liquids. Customer service was great to replace the first one that broke. However when the 2nd and 3rd broke within 6 months of purchase I asked for a refund as I realized they would all break eventually. The support team was very responsive and refunded my money…

I love these glass jars! They are the perfect size to carry a large portion of leftovers for lunch. The low, wide rectangular shape fits in a typical insulated lunch box with an ice pack if needed. I was specifically looking for glass containers to reheat food in the microwave without worrying about the plastic taste in the food. The lids are plastic, but I heat without the lid.
