So far so good: Weather Cleaning

Used this to put a missing seal around my truck's rear window. Fit well in the groove. Uses RTV silicone to keep it in place

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Apparently good

Apparently good, but not universal. Bought for a 2010 Hyundai Elantra and it didn't fit. Too bad. I really wanted it to work.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I don't remember

No glue in the glass groove. Won't stay on glass after installation

Doesn't have glue in the glass groove like installers do. Therefore it will not stay on the glass and will not come off when attempting to install a framed urethane windshield. Terribly disappointing.

  • Durable finish

2008 Hyundai Azera upper windshield seal exact replacement

When one side of the seal came loose and started flapping in the wind I searched the internet for a new seal. This one is identical to the old one. It snaps into place with flanges on the bottom and does not require any weatherproof adhesive. I recommend it.

Very happy with the product

I like the quality, I was impressed that the finish was what I expected from the factory. I pasted it on the windshield of a 2001 Honda Accord. I had to trim a small edge on the trim to make it fit. Also, I pushed it in with the back of a screwdriver (because it's round and hard and distributes the force across the rubber) and then it snapped into place. and it looks great.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Frequency

Stout Stuff on Weather Striping

I used this sealant to reattach two windows on the convertible top of a VW bus. The rotten gasket I replaced was 3/8" narrower, so I had to enlarge the hole by cutting some fiberglass. I tried installing the gasket the same way I've replaced all other window gaskets on my bus but couldn't get it to work. This rubber is stiffer and tougher than the stock rubber seals I ordered from a VW rubber seal supplier. With this seal I first stuck the seal on the bus and then that Glass coaxed I needed a…
