I was looking to replace my Craftsman pliers and found they are no longer made under that name. They do the same job and cost significantly less. Good business.

Robogrips are gone so I ordered this set. I only used them to remove and install the toilet. They seemed to work just as well as my missing set so I'm happy. My friend was impressed. I don't need a well-known brand if the tool will do my job.

They replaced my usual channel locks. It is a very handy, durable/reliable tool and excellent value for money. They could use some tweaking to make the jaws appear a bit loose with some big nuts and tubes etc but overall these little pliers are perfect for me and will be used on a daily basis.

Edit: After hours of pulling the clips out of the floor after pulling out the carpet and rug, the thing is almost useless! He just can't keep up. Not the same quality as RoboGrip. Fine. Tend to "slip cogs" easily when trying to grab/fix something. You have to grab and hold several times, which is tedious. For the cost, you should probably spend a few bucks more and buy the RoboGrip.

I can't understand how someone who loves Craftsman Robo Tongs would criticize the Glitter Sun Tongs. They are exact copies of Craftsman and work the same way. No doubt they are made in China where many things made there are of poor quality. These are definitely refreshing changes. How could they not be! Guys, this is like a blueprint. Some of these comments say this product is not as good as Craftsman. I recently bought a new "Craftsman Robo Grip - 9 inch". and also bought a 9" Glitter Sun Robo Grip to test both.
