I think I've bought all the eyeliner sharpeners from Revain and this is by far the worst. The shape, the purpose of which escapes me, means you have to empty the case every time you sharpen. This can be normal if the thing is actually well sharpened. It's not like this. The way the pin fits means you'll break the tip even if the thing can create it. Instead, he cuts off your expensive pencil and gives you a blunt spot for your troubles.

I'm a makeup sharpener snob. THIS is the best sharpener, you are absolutely not crazy if you spend what it costs. It's worth it, my pencils sharpen perfectly and flawlessly, they last longer than a cheap makeup sharpener. And the little tool for removing dirt in the blade area is fantastic at how ingeniously 'engineered' it is. I would put it in my favorite basket for all my friends. You didn't have a sharpener until you used this one.

After years of dirty pencil sharpeners opening and breaking and messing up my makeup bag, this is brilliant! I noticed that another reviewer said she was having trouble figuring out how to get the red "cleaning device". Well it's fantastic. You just snap the black part together and the top pops out! Then remove the cleaner or clean the chips. It's great, it's always nice when such a little thing solves an unpleasant problem. I highly recommend!

I don't usually spend that much on a pencil sharpener, but when you buy more expensive eyeliners it saves having a great pencil sharpener that doesn't create too much waste. This tapers to a rounded point compared to a point like a pencil point, which is a better quality. This is my absolute favorite pencil sharpener and I've tried probably over 20-30 brands/types in my life. My former favorite was the Japanese sharpener which is also great but Glo Minerals tops it. Once you remove the round point/cleanup tool it will make the sharpest point I have ever seen. Tip: Read both pages of the instructions.
