GloFish Castle Aquarium Ornament: Enhance Your Underwater Kingdom Review

Junk. It's so small and doesn't even glow under blue light. It's cheap for the price, yet not worth buying if you expect what's advertised.

Nice little lock. This is just the right size for our 10 gallon tank. The only problem is the glowing parts. Only the window frames light up. The rest is beautifully colorful, but that's not the subject of a flashy statement.

Although it looks very nice in our classroom pool, I've recently noticed that the red paint is peeling. I don't understand how this can happen with something intended for an aquarium!?! I can't imagine how good this is for our fish! I would like to return this defective product, unfortunately I cannot return the product.

My main problem with this ornament is that my tetras swam into the large castle windows and got stuck as the windows on the other side of the castle were smaller so they couldn't get through through. I managed to pull them out but their fins and scales are damaged. The paint will peel off after a few months. Overall not recommended.

I bought this for my daughter's first aquarium. It's been under water for about a month and a half, we went to clean the tank and found that some of the paint was peeling off! I ran my finger over it once and a bunch of paint fell off! I can't think of any fish swimming (and eating I guess) in paint chips, that's awesome! Very dissatisfied!

The lock is more red than brown but still works perfectly. I have it in a 3 gallon curved front tank and it fits perfectly. Danios love to swim and go out and this gives them a different place than plants to get away from each other. Is that what I think small when called big? Yes. Does it measure exactly what they say? Yes. Has only been in the tank for 3 weeks but so far so good.
