Not as advertised. best audio and video accessories

product advertised as stereo TRS jack but missing connector. The tip and ring are mixed into the same channel, resulting in audio loss. It doesn't record Tip's sound, so you hear vocals and some instruments, others are missing. The manufacturer must disassemble their product and separate the ferrule and ring connections like any other eligible product. There should be 3 wires soldered to the connector, but this one only has two.

Not shielded so you will hear static hiss!

I ended up taking it apart to see what was wrong. This cable is NOT properly shielded allowing you to pick up all types of electrical interference from your computer or surrounding devices (anything with a fan or display). It's also listed in the description, but it's a MONO cable, although 1/8" is TRS. Since it's stereo, not mono, it's easy to forget when you're busy. It also means that the cable is not symmetrical, which also introduces noise Better with something else, really balanced and…

It gets the job done for the most part.

I'm not an audiophile or anything, but this works. Depending on how tight the connection to your device is, you may sometimes hear static; but there doesn't seem to be any distortion or static if you manage to plug it in properly and not move the connectors. One thing some of you should keep in mind when starting out with audio equipment. When you connect it to a cellphone, you may hear a hissing sound when you charge your phone too. Simply turning the phone off will largely eliminate this. It…

Well made and smart cable!

In the last two reviews I've seen complaints that this cable only carries one channel of sound or doesn't work at all. Mine has none of these issues and is a well made, durable and extremely smart cable. Now it should be noted that you will not get stereo audio from this cable into a mixer channel - you need 2 channels of the board for that. What this cable does well is MONO SUMMER the L and R signals from your CD, iPod, iPad, computer, etc., allowing you to hear both sides of the recording in…

This cable is great, sounds great

This cable is great, sounds great, powerful/good quality and will give you the stereo sound you want. For a while I used a mini quarter inch cable with a converter to XLR. It was a mission, to say the least; I would have to find the right angle to connect and if I did. I was only able to half connect a quarter inch so it would make contact with the XLR converter. If anyone has been through this trouble then you know what I'm talking about and wrestling is no fun. Long story short, this was a…
