🍸 Godinger Dublin Double Old Fashioned Glasses, 4-Piece Set Review

I love everything about this product. So much so that I ordered iced tea glasses and wine glasses. The appearance of cut glass is very eloquent, but strong enough that "little" children can use it without fear of breaking it.

Liked the glasses even though one was crushed in the box. I issued a refund, but the requested process didn't work where I live. I asked for a return label and received no response from Godinger. I made a second request and still no response.

I bought them on purpose because the description said 8 oz. However when I opened them they were very large and I looked at the box and saw they were actually 11 ounces! I will send these back. They should change their description as it strikes me as misleading marketing.

The design is classic and exudes class. Although the set is marketed as being made in Dublin, it is more specifically inspired by Dublin: this set was made in China. While the glasses are good for the price and design please lower your expectations which means this set is on par with the Waterford Crystal.

I have them red and clear and use them as water glasses when there are lots of kids around. You don't tip! Of course this is NOT Waterford - they don't pretend! Waterford ONE DOF glass ranges from $55 to $70. These glasses add sparkle to the table, are beautifully designed, affordable, kid-friendly, can be used every day and are dishwasher safe out of the box. I think these are sufficient reasons to buy them.

I would like to read the reviews on these glasses more closely. At the low price I knew these would not be exquisite crystals but got the impression they were genuine Shannon crystals from Ireland. So I thought they could have better quality for the price. Big mistake. These glasses were made of thick, chunky pressed glass. I don't think they are crystal at all. They didn't sing, and when clicked with a finger or a spoon, there was no ringing—just a thump. The stitching was uneven and obvious…

I really don't know why other brands are so expensive. I shopped at the usual places before ordering this set from Revain. The glasses looked beautiful. In fact, they are a little heavy, which gives them a luxurious feel. This is cast crystal but the seams of the shape are not obvious. It looks very beautiful with an amber drink. I really like this product and since the price I paid is low I feel I got a great deal.
