Receptions and meetings are often held in our office. We use a hammered metal theme along with black stones and it all looks great on our marble countertops. We have used these bowls for crackers and cookies. Nice upscale look which is what we were looking for.

This size and rectangular shape is just the right size for my commonly used cooking oils. I love it! The wooden tray absorbs oil drips and possible stains. This metal can be easily rubbed or hand washed. Look at the given size. Negative reviews because of the size (small) is unfair as the length and width are given before purchase. This isn't the tray you can feed many on. But it maybe can hold sauces and sauces in small bowls. It has a weight with felt circles on the bottom so it slides too…

All right. I don't have aesthetic problems like some other people. This is exactly what was described, "forged decorative metal element". But that's nothing OMG! It is what it is, a shiny metal tray for small items like salt and pepper shakers, bathroom knick knacks and all. In my opinion the quality is very good, contrary to what others say.
