💨 Godting 1 Box Fan, Gray: Powerful Cooling in a Sleek Design Review

The fan seems decent if you want something that blows really hard. It has 3 settings, and I wouldn't call the lowest setting low (or quiet). If you're trying to cool down in a garage or any other place where you need fast moving air and noise isn't an issue, then this fan is for you. If you want low speed and quiet operation, look elsewhere.

I have bought many Lasso fans over the years, this model is slightly smaller than older models and is a bit noisier, the fan blades are not balanced The fan so it vibrates across the floor. It may be my imagination but I don't think it moves as much air as the older models. Be very careful when handling the fan, the plastic protection on the front and back breaks very easily.

I bought 2 of these fans. One was installed so off center it wouldn't work without my repair. They didn't even screw it on properly. In the second case, the fan motor was also loosened, but at least installed correctly. I just had to tighten it to stop it rattling. At this price point, don't expect all the engineering required to design a quiet fan that moves so much air at the highest of the three speeds. At both low speeds, the fan is quite quiet. Most rooms don't require high speed. In a large living room the size of a two-car garage at an elevation (low, medium, high) you'll be aware of air movement, but if you want the wind blowing on you, it's not you.
