I've been using Body Glide for many years, but it has one downside. Using Body Glide and storing it in a hot car will make it sticky. Friction Defense works just as well but doesn't melt. The bonus is that it's cheaper! It's also sold at a few major stores, so you don't have to wait for the premiere or go to a bike/running specialty store to shell out $15 for the Body Glide. Pro tip: put it on BEFORE you break a sweat. Then it works even better and longer.

I purchased this product after noticing underbust discoloration (due to bra and sweat) and found an article recommending this product. I can't believe how well this worked! This product is not significantly different from the J&J Friction Band Aid version. After reading all the reviews of different alternatives, I simply chose Gold Bond. I use it when breaking in new shoes, especially on the problem areas on the back of the heel and in the upper ankle area. The consistency is also similar to the BandAid version. You don't have to be a victim of price gouging. That works just as well. However, I cannot speak about the use of sneakers in heavy sports.

This is a miracle. not too greasy and lasts up to 3+ hours of use. One stick held two 18 week marathon training programs, hot and sweaty! Highly recommended.

I used to wear spanx under clothes to avoid the horrible chafing of my thighs. BUT NOT ANYMORE. This material retains heat and moisture. It's completely non-chafing and so light and soft you won't even notice it on your skin. A few swipes and you're ready to go for hours. Sweating and swimming will deplete it, so carry it with you in your beach bag.
