DO NOT SWALLOW

I can't tell you what it is but I can tell you for sure that it is NOT real gold and should not be eaten. Real gold can be ingested as it is inert and therefore non-toxic. I have used real gold many times and this is absolutely not true. I also did a hardness test and the color changed which would not happen with gold. While this works great for craft projects, there's really no reason to spend that much money on this little craft or gilding product (unless you want to use real gold for…

I have previously worked on solid gold gilding projects so I had my doubts when I saw how thick it's this (fake) gold leaf - I could take it with my hands without tearing it. But instead of giving a bad review based on my suspicions, I went to the buyer of the gold and asked them to do an endurance test - as a result the leaf turned green and disintegrated, which shouldn't happen with real gold anyway, given how thin it is . The only gold leaf I will use in the future!

My first try at gold leaf and it turned out to be about a thousand times easier than I thought. I've been collecting shells that I've wanted to gild for years and this is my first attempt at making an oyster jewelry tray (made from Mona Lisa alloy gold leaf) and a small shell that can be turned into a necklace (made from this real 24k leaf). ) turned out very nice and I already have friends asking for it πŸ˜‚ the glue is very easy to apply (thin coats of people) and works great.
