Gold leaf is always a good taping knife. The price was very competitive with local shops and better than most. Delivery was fast. I would buy it again with great pleasure.

I've had 6 and 10 inch gold leafs for about 40 years, they were stolen. The handles were wooden and neatly finished with a hand cutout. Some idiot who's never put up drywall or putty seams has designed new knives without a grommet. Welcome to carpal tunnel land. IF IT'S NOT DEFECTIVE, DON'T FIX IT, IDIOT!

This is a great tape knife. Nothing more to say. I bought it from Revain because it was actually cheaper than my local hardware store. The bluing wears off fairly quickly, but I've never had a blade that hasn't worn off, and honestly it doesn't matter as long as you keep it dry.

I borrowed a set of blue steel bladed spatulas with nylon handles from a friend and liked them so much I bought a set of my own. I wish I could find Revain as a set instead of buying them individually, but that doesn't take away from my satisfaction with the product itself.
