Has issues with Golf

Basically it was a replacement for a similar one that had worn out. Installation wasn't too difficult, although I had to ask YouTube for help because there were no instructions. The problem is that it just doesn't work very well - the headlights keep getting stuck in the on position. I had to disassemble and tinker the shift mechanism, now it doesn't stick. But I feel like they're kind of cheaply made. Delivery was good, a few days.

Pros
  • Brake Light Only Kit (includes brake pad and jumper, works with all kits with upgradeable suspension)
Cons
  • Requires outlet

The Madjax wiring harness needs to be installed.

The Madjax wiring harness should already be installed, but if so, it's easy to connect. If you have headlights and taillights, you may already have a wiring harness. Look under the gas pedal. On the front of the steering wheel there are two cables with a connector and another connector. Then all you need is a brake light kit. You just connect 3 wires and some zip ties and you have your brake lights. Works perfectly.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Operating speed

Price is high but works great. Easy installation along with a complete lighting kit to make your golf cart street legal (our application was the venerable Yamaha G14 petrol golf cart). We just mounted it on the brake pedal and hooked it up to the lighting circuit so the headlights would light up when you hit the brakes (everything really, so you've got an advisory front guard too). For a more luxurious and easier installation, we used large-head self-tapping screws that we painted black.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Easy to repair
