A Must-Have for Every Automotive Enthusiast

Using this voltage reducer converter, our team found that it was the perfect tool to add to our garage. The device allowed us to charge our golf cart without any trouble or worrying about damaging the cart's battery. The fact that it is compact made it easy to store in a small workspace without taking up too much room: a definite plus in our eyes... The only downside we found was that it only works for 36-volt systems, leaving out golf carts that have a more powerful battery..

Pros
  • Compact design
Cons
  • Only works for 36-volt systems

Works great BUT the output is 12v instead of 14.

The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it doesn't have inrush current protection. Because of this there is a large surge of current when it is turned on and it blows the fuse so I made a coil to limit the surge of current. This prevented the fuses from blowing. Works great BUT the output is 12 volts instead of 14 or something like the alternator. Use it in my golf cart to power the headlights.

  • Electronics
Cons
