I thought they were softer. I have used them for bar stools but because they are so stiff the stools sit unevenly on my rug.

They are hard and slippery so they come off the furniture. the teeth obviously dig into the carpet but are a bit aggressive as the plastic is so hard it can damage them.

If you never move your furniture, that's okay. I put them under my bed which I have to move to do so. I have to keep lifting the bed to put them back. UUGHH.

Placed under two sofas standing on the carpet. The legs of the sofa slide in parts, causing them to slide off. Two of them fell, leaving small fragments on the carpet. With a baby in the house, this became a choking hazard.

I recently added a heavy gauge wire screen to my closet to free up shelving space. I didn't want to leave marks on the carpet, so I put them under the "legs". (I couldn't find it at my local store). There's nothing unusual about them, but they do exactly what I need them to do. They seem solid and didn't snap when I filled the shelves with heavy items.

I like that they have a rim so thought they would be good for things that could potentially be moved/pushed a bit, namely sofas and beds rather than dressers and bookshelves . It's a good idea but pretty much useless as they will break into lots of pieces under the weight of a normal adult sleeping on a bed or two normal adults sitting on a couch. After a few weeks, 1 or 2 of the 4 supports holding the furniture will crumble and turn into carpet.

We bought these to use on our sofa and ottoman to keep our feet from poking holes in our jute and Moroccan wool rugs. The first thing I noticed was that the plastic is very hard and not flexible at all. After we placed them under the legs of our furniture and then placed them on top of the ottoman, the ottoman immediately slipped off all 4 rugs onto the rug and broke the edge of one of the rugs.
