Great strap but mine is broken

Very nice strap but got 3 stars because for the price my strap is twisted if you lay the strap horizontally the latches do not face each other. I suspect that I have a defective suspension.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Fits

Not as strong: collars, harnesses and leashes

I was hoping the leather strap would be strong enough for a 10 lb Chihuahua. However, he was chasing ducks and the strap broke and he was untied! (He didn't catch the ducks, they flew away, but he was fast!). So I was a bit disappointed that the tourniquet didn't last 3 months.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Another good edition $

My Yorkshire chewed it up in one go! She weighed 4 pounds at the time. It didn't fit her properly and she was able to move her lower jaw under her breast. Wow, goodbye. Another good waste of $. Gooby is usually the brand that works for our 3 puppies. So it was unsuccessful.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I really liked this harness

I really liked this harness. The only problem is that if you have a dog that pulls the stuff, eventually it will start to pull and get too big. My dog is still a puppy and is still learning not to pull. This would be a great harness if you have a dog that doesn't pull as it stays adjusted.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons

Great for small breed dogs 🐶

I bought a small for our 5# Morkie and a medium for our 12# biewer. They are really well made and perfect for small breeds with adjustments as they grow a bit. In fact, I ordered 2 more! I wish they were in other colors - maybe red? I love Gooby Dog products.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Doubtful

Very comfortable material and strong clips and buckles

Very comfortable material and strong clips and buckles. I have an 18lb Jack Russell Terrier and the large size is very comfortable for a standard walk around the neighborhood but we take it for swimming in streams and rivers and the material definitely sags when it gets wet, and will very loose when it pulls generally. but after repeated drying it always seems to return to the exact size. Overall I really like this harness for my very active pup!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Almost never

I love this harness!

I received this harness today. Some of the reviews I read said it was too thin. I wanted to address that first. I suppose a dog could chew it, but it's not paper thin. The straps are soft and flexible, which is exactly what I wanted to avoid chafing my Maggie May who loves to run. Maggie is a 7 1/2 pound dachshund mix and the environment suits her very well and she has room to grow since she is still a puppy. I looked for places on the suspension that would be uncomfortable. I just couldn't…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Don't know
