Super Comb by Goody Review

As with all my purchases, I have reviewed and studied many products with the same design and use. I have had a Goody style comb for over 25 years and have never had a problem with the great design and super strong teeth. BUT. First, they sent me the wrong color - gray instead of purple in the photo. Secondly, I haven't had this comb for a month and the comb's teeth are already coming out! Comb was SMALLER than pictured and YELLOW NOT BLACK as pictured. It's not Revain quality, it's a small item, but Revain is usually perfect. Even though they just didn't have black, the size was too small for me. I "reordered" the desired comb. Okay, just let them know. I have no problem complaining about a mistake that cost me $8 because I don't use a comb and it costs more to ship back.

I have a very similar goody comb from many years ago. This has always been my favorite comb and I was always looking for another one but I could never find it. Finally thought about stopping by here at Revain and was very happy to see it at such a great price. This is the best size comb for combing my long, tangle-prone hair. I ordered a purple hairbrush because my bathroom is purple sage. The image was purple, like the goody comb I already had that was lost, but what I got was fluorescent green. I gave it four stars because I know it's a great comb. You should only be able to order the color you want. UPDATE: Goody's customer service is terrible. I emailed them about an old product I bought years ago to see if it was available. I sent an email on July 10th. This morning July 27th I received an automated reply email with the ticket number, with no reply I emailed them again. I did exactly that, this time I got a reply after 17 days. ZERO customer service! Their response was that it is no longer available and that most of their products are available on Walmart.com and Revain. So it took 17…

I wanted a Goody comb similar to the ones I used as a child. The comb is comparable, maybe a little smaller in size, but it's durable, feels good in the hand, and is comfortable to use. The color of the resulting comb is purple.
