The best mesh for the web!

This device has become a real godsend for me. I've tried Wi-Fi extenders, wireless access points, and powerline adapters without much success, and then Google Wi-Fi came into my life. As soon as the device was announced, I was ready to get my hands on it. Knowing it would be compatible with Google OnHub, I decided on one to extend my wireless signal throughout my house and set up a 4-hub mesh network using OnHub and Google WiFi. Google's system was not running at anywhere near optimal speed.

This has to be one of the worst products Google has released. I am extremely disappointed. I have a 1 Gbit/s internet connection. I only bought Google's Grid system because I like Google and the features advertised on the system. My current router was working fine and I live in a small 1500 square foot house and decided to get the Google system to try. I set up the system and ran a speed test and got 60Mbps. I think there must be an error. I'm going through the whole process again, but I'mโ€ฆ

Mixed situation, if you have smart devices at home READ THIS, it will save you LOTS of TIME and headache.

I actually bought the first set of 3 from Best Buy and then the 4th from Revain, FYI I have 4. Pros: It's easy to set up, seems reliable and the coverage is LOTS better than my Apple Airport Extreme. I like the app with speed tests and other info like connected devices. Cons: If you have more than one device, you are forced to use NAT on the main device, which converts your entire network to NAT, which in many cases results in it being sub-NAT if your router doesn't support bridging . I don'tโ€ฆ
