GORE Waterproof Cycling GORE TEX 100036 Review

This is a great cycling jacket for rainy conditions. I wore it for several hours in the pouring rain and was dry when I took it off at the end of the trip.

I have had other Gore-Tex products but this jacket is the worst at water repellency. Inner arms and body were soaked and soaked after a short walk in light rain. Very disappointing

Husband was skeptical but when he got it and put it on on his first outing (cycling) he came home very happy that the jacket had all Requirements fulfilled. Advertising said to be and more, very satisfied.

The jacket is cropped, I'm a size XL and barely reaches the waist. It's definitely waterproof, but not breathable at all. I live in the Seattle area and have to drive 16 miles one way. When I get to work or home I'm wet on the inside, which keeps rain and sweat out of the inside.

I bought it to protect myself from the weather while running. It serves that purpose well. The low-cut front is actually good for cycling and running. The cutout helps increase freedom of movement, especially during OCR races. I wouldn't use it as a city jacket. The absence of pockets and the overall fit of the jacket are designed to reduce weight for athletes in harsher environments.

Bought according to size chart L, worn with a clothing layer as a motorcycle raincoat. Textile feel with a waterproof coating. Thin and light material, can be folded. Narrow arm, a little longer, even stretched forward in the driving position. I am 1.79 cm tall and weigh 78 kg. To be tested in the rainy season. Will be updated soon.
