Fits 9th Gen Civic Si

If you have a 9th Gen Civic Si (2012+) it will fit your car and look very nice. Installation was easy and quick, about 5 minutes per tire with a hand tool. A mother cross dressed. They fit my Si perfectly and look a lot better than the original. 80% of them didn't have chipped paint or dents, and those that did weren't bad or noticeable on the car. They make standard discs pop a lot more. I have a black car with a red one.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Secret

Well they hold my wheels pretty well but after putting them on and off...

Well my wheels are holding up well but after putting them on and taking them off the paint is already peeling. I also don't like the "fixing" form factor of these nuts, it bothers me to carry an outlet with me. If someone really wanted my bikes, that wouldn't stop them anyway. I have deep socket tuner wheels but I hate how open ended nuts spray rust off the lugs onto my fenders.

  • Lots of positive emotions

The red nuts are already coming off the chrome

I ordered two pairs of nuts. One for each grand piano I own. The black nuts I ordered have held up great and still look brand new. However, the red nuts I ordered are absolutely pathetic. Almost EVERY bike has the paint peeling off a nut. One nut is fully chrome plated. I ordered them at the end of June and now it's the beginning of October of the same year so basically 3 months of driving and car washing and how do they last? For your own good, please DO NOT buy these nuts in any color other…

Pros
  • Tires and wheels
Cons
  • Little things

Pretty pretty, but what about the packaging.

The bolts look great, are very thin and match the aftermarket sport rims well, but the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. They were placed loosely in an amazon bag so they could jump and bump into each other resulting in 2 or 3 of them being tagged. The outside is mostly fine too, but it looks like they kept them wet at some point in the prose, so the threads on the inside of two of them have some light rust as it ended up in the baggy stuff that they were. . I can imagine that over time it…

Pros
  • Ring nuts
Cons
  • Guard

Functionally good, cosmetically terrible.

Believe all the negative reviews about these nuts. The fairing will literally come off when you first install it. When you install and re-tighten the tabs, you will have removed the V-rib trim on the sides. If, like me, you work a lot on your car and use separate winter and summer tires, the coating will wear off completely in a few months. I gave them 2 runs instead of 1 because they do their job of maintaining speed. wheels on. And they're small in diameter and they work with my crappy winter

Pros
  • Accessories and parts
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Installation tool needs revision

You really need to coat the inside of the tool with some kind of rubber to protect the surface of the nuts. The tool barely fits in my rims anyway, so I couldn't even put a thin layer of plastic between the tool and the nut and still mount it. I've tried both a plastic bag and a cut 5 mil rubber glove, but both were secured to the rim in such a way that I couldn't turn the nut by hand and didn't want to tighten it with more torque. Wrench so as not to damage the thread. When you buy something…

Pros
  • Ring nuts and accessories
Cons
  • not reliable
