The new Gorilla parts look a lot worse than the 3 year old McGard parts

I removed the 3 year old McGard lug nuts and wheel locks from my car when changing wheels. I bought gorilla nuts and wheel locks. Brand new Gorilla parts look a lot worse than three year old McGard parts. They look like absolute junk compared to McGard nuts.

Bought for Grand Cherokee 03.

Haven't used them yet as I'm still waiting for my wheels. They were normally packed in a bag. He had an instrument, unlike the others written about here. I think Gorilla would have used slightly better retail packaging for the price. I know it sounds silly but it seems "cheap" when they come in a zipped bag.

I have bought other nuts for my cars when I change rims. The coating usually lasts a season, then they become dull and the coating begins to peel off. I've had Gorilla studs on my Tundra for over a year and a half and haven't had any issues. I bought a kit for my LandCruiser and it's the same. they look like new after a few months.
