🔒 Gorilla Automotive 71631NB5 Acorn Wheel Locks | 12mm x 1.50 Thread Size | Pack of 5 Review

I like the slotted design but the width of the installation tool is too wide to fit through the surround of my 1991 Ford Explorer so I had to remove it to use the locks, and it did. There is no complete engagement of the wedges. It's good that I rarely have to take the wheels off.

The locks are fine but the key to remove and install the locks is 21mm and my nuts and factory wrench are 19mm so I now have an extra one can carry socket and a ratchet in case I get an apartment. It sucks. It was said to be suitable for this car. Spring. I think to the point. Although they look good. The protrusions with the W factor are nicely combined.

Unfortunately I bought these after my spare tire was stolen from my SUV. Lessons of course! I bought these based on feedback from my friends on the quality of the brand. I was not disappointed. Very easy to install, comes with an envelope to send back for a spare key to keep at home and a quality product. I was happy to find a set of 5 instead of 4!

At first I bought a few different ones that looked very cheap and small, but they are pretty close to the '04 Vette OEM tabs. It is difficult to tell when they are in the hub (see photo). I'm not sure how safe they are, and I doubt anyone will still be using the original wheels: the $1,700 run-flat tires on wheels are more of a problem. For the price they are very good. Kit CONTAINS 5 wheel locks including spare tire/wheel. Much better looking and better fitting than the MOPAR (or other brand) wheel lock kits you can get from the dealer or here on Revain.com. The appearance is very close to the original jeep nuts and cheaper than others. Definitely a must have for the first modification of my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with Special Edition MOAB wheels.
