As other buyers have written, the threads are rubbish. 1 of 5 sliced (and this one has been tweaked a bit with a touch). The metal is very soft and deforms with less than 35 ft/lbs of force.

As others have said. It's hit or miss. I planned ahead and ordered a tap and a set of dies. I'm glad I did. Two is fine. Three cleaning/cutting lines needed. One of the three has a cross carving, so it went in the trash.

All 5 thread pitches are incorrect. The muzzle brake was already installed, either expansion washers were required or these locking nuts had to be used with expansion washers to properly synchronize the brake, they thread smoothly until they reach the back of each nut. One had excessive flare from the stamping which I sanded down hoping it would work. nope All 5 are not screwed onto 2 different barrels. All 5 were difficult to wind on the running threads. 2 out of 3 were cut crooked so they didn't screw in flush with the shoulder, so they're useless if you're going to use them to time something (like a muzzle device). They have to be 100% concentric and flush, and of the three "good ones," I wasn't sure about any. Of course, given that they were made in China, you should take that into account. I'd happily pay double the price if they were made in the USA and they were all concentric and…
