I love my new pressure cooker! I just came home from work and cooked fried chicken, it took 3 times longer and it was delicious! Also made a vegan stew that turned out to be heavenly! (We have a lot of vegan guests, so that was very helpful)

I wasn't quite sure how big an 8qt would actually be, but it's very large and can meet all my culinary needs! The only downside is that while I've never used an Instapot, the instructions can be confusing and even conflicting. Otherwise, the product itself is recommended.

This pressure cooker is amazing. The controls have been designed to make using the pressure cooker simple and easy. I was able to use it with no prior knowledge. Even better. Cleans like a charm. I was skeptical about using a pressure cooker but I'm so glad I did because it's a great gadget. This greatly reduced the cooking time. If you want to cook rice, beef or chicken in less time, this cooker is for you.

I like to wait a bit before rating a product so I don't rate it good or bad too quickly. This pressure cooker worked well, was easy to clean and I've thoroughly enjoyed it the few times I've used it. Four months later, a piece fell out of the lid, which I later identified as a valve and can be seen in my first photo. This caused the pressure cooker to stop holding the pressure, so the pressure kept increasing, releasing all the water and setting the pot on fire as shown in the second photo. I…
