No choking hazards: The cloud-shaped collar on Grabease baby silverware acts as a choke protection barrier, to ensure your child does not gag on the utensil while experimenting with self-feeding. No nasty chemicals: These toddler fork and spoon sets are made from 100% safe plastic, free from BPA, lead, phthalates and other harmful materials. Easy clean-up: These baby spoons and forks are safe for the top rack of your dishwasher. Simply toss them in with your dishes or boil them for 2 minutes to clean. Develops dexterity: Occupational therapists recommend Grabease. As your kiddos feed themselves, they develop motor skills and their finger muscles grow stronger, preparing them for coloring, drawing and writing in the future

Easy for little hands

So fun! My granddaughter loves using the fork. It’s perfect for her little hands! Easy to clean, easy to use! That's my review!

Pros
  • This is a great baby gift. Our grand children love them. Easy for little hands to hold.
Cons
  • The product may not be as durable as other baby utensils on the market

Easy for littles to grip but spoon could use improvement

My youngest is 16 months and I bought these to help make it easier for him to learn how to eat, as his older siblings utensils are a little too advanced for him yet. I love how easy these are for him to hold and he’s mastered the fork really well. The spoon could use some improvement, it’s not deep enough to hold food. As he brings it to his mouth, the slightest tilt and all the food falls off. He doesn’t seem frustrated by it but he will just put the spoon down and use his hands. Other than…

Pros
  • Great product for little ones! Sturdy and easy to clean!
Cons
  • The protective barriers may make it difficult to clean the utensils thoroughly

My one year old LOVES these utensils. I got her a few different ones to try and these are by far her favorite. She’s not that great at it yet, but she has the most success with these out of any of the others we’ve tried. And I love the little shield feature they have to prevent her from gagging herself. She can still fit the entire thing in her mouth if she wants to, but she’s generally more dainty when she uses these. She mostly just likes to hold one in her hand while she shovels food into…

Pros
  • Easy to hold and clean.
Cons
  • The utensils may not be dishwasher safe

Didn't work for 18 month old

Maybe these would be helpful as introduction to utensils but are too short for an older child (18 Months). Decide based on the age & dexterity of your child.

Pros
  • For my grandson very safe and cute
Cons
  • May not be able to clean the utensils easily

Immediate success for Baby!

We’ve been teaching our 10 month old how to feed himself and I have been frustrated by how unwieldy regular baby spoons are for him and concerned about the choking hazard if he shoves it too far in. All of the regular baby forks seem so wide like an adult fork that I didn’t even try. We purchased the Grabease set and gave him the fork with some food on the top, and he was immediately able to pick up the handle and successfully get the fork and food in his mouth. The tongs for the fork are…

Pros
  • Haven't used it yet. For baby shower. Very cute. Looks well made. Arrived quickly.
Cons
  • The design may not be comfortable for a child to hold

These are great on my review.

I am very behind on getting my 17 month old to eat with utensils but these have made the transition super easy. My daughter actually likes to use them and they are surprisingly easy for her to grab and hold. She can hold them herself unlike the clunky spoons that are for babies.

Pros
  • ‎ergonomically shaped handles, BPA Free, choke protection barrier, Dishwasher Safe
Cons
  • May not be useful for children who prefer to eat with their hands

Nice size for infants, but not easy to use

Since these are plastic it was very hard for our child to get anything to stick to the fork, they are a good size for infants but not very practical.

Pros
  • Helps little ones to eat
Cons
  • The plastic may become discolored or stained over time

The best utensils for little one

My daughter tried out several different utensils at the market but they all too large and long for our 1.5 yrs old and she was at that time ready to feed herself. And finally we found this one that suitable for her development and she gained sense of achievement by using this feeding for herself. This is a great design for little hand which grasp and fine motor skill is still developing. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Smaller than expected, really better for 6-12m but my 12-15m old enjoyed them and used them well.
Cons
  • The product may not be environmentally friendly

Perfect for baby - my new review

These are perfect for my 6mo old baby leaving to use utensils. They are so cute and tiny and fit perfectly in his hand May not be suitable for parents with eco-conscious lifestyles.

Pros
  • Compact size makes it easy to pack for on-the-go feeding
Cons
  • May not be suitable for parents with eco-conscious lifestyles

Easy handling: my feedback

I've been following Grabease on instagram for a while now and have kind of just thought "oh it's just another fork and spoon thing." until I saw a video they posted with a little kid trying to eat strawberries out of a bowl with a regular-sized kid fork and then he tried with the Grabease and it seemed so much easier for him! I ordered the orange pair for my 16 month old and have already noticed a difference. He still eats a lot with his hands because he hasn't been able to figure out…

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • The product may be difficult to use for children with certain physical disabilities

Easy to use best in my review

Like the wide variety of colors to choose from and they're verveasy for my 20 month old to use. They hold up well as long as you don't drop them in the bottom of the dishwasher. My one complaint is that you can't purchase just forks or just spoons.

Pros
  • My toddler loves it and it makes it easier for her to use
Cons
  • The product may break easily if dropped

Great for babies and toddlers!

My daughter received a set as a gift for her 1st birthday. She LOVES using them! Sometimes she needs help with how to hold it, but she seems to figure it out!Great tool for babies/toddlers learning to feed themselves!Oh! And the travel case is perfect to keep a set in the diaper bag for on-the-go!

Pros
  • Just perfect for teething baby, and teaching them to hold
Cons
  • Parents may still need to supervise their child's eating to prevent choking

Product design does not work well for my young toddler

Honestly don't know why this product has such good reviews. Would have returned it had I not already thrown away the packaging. But the guard around the utensil should be moved back a little further. The fork is OK, but it's like way too close on the spoon. The only way he can use the spoon is if he slurps the food in, because the guard is so close he can't wrap his mouth around the spoon. I see merit in the guard, that's why I got this product, but as far as I'm concerned, the guard is far too

Pros
  • Encourages independent eating habits
Cons
  • May not be useful for parents who prefer to use metal utensils for their children

great first utensils

we got these for our daughter to help her learn how to grab and put food in her mouth. i love that they have the little blocker part to make sure she doesn't shove the fork/spoon all the way to the back of her throat (which she has done with other utensils!)they are super cute and really easy for her to hold and use. highly recommend!

Pros
  • 1yr old Granddaughter loves feeding herself and this set gives her the opportunity to do so .
Cons
  • Non-toxic plastic can still be harmful to the environment and not completely sustainable
