SIP integration problems

The device was a bit slow and it is the latest rls firmware (1.4.1.5) and it gives me programming problems. I may have to send it back.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Inconvenient for phones

Good product, but there is one problem, it was not possible to set up outgoing calls from 3CX, although this gateway could only receive calls from the gateway to the 3CX extension

Pros
  • I keep my fingers crossed
Cons
  • There are nuances

nice device, better than SPA series

Grandstream's 8-Port FXO offers a feature I like: independent FXO SIP account management, up to 3 SIP server profiles, good compatibility with Asterisk.

Pros
  • nice stuff
Cons
  • Zero

Grandstream 8-port FXO

Works as advertised. Easy configuration. Has never failed since installation. This is the FXO that we will be using in all of our locations as we expand our VoIP network. Item was shipped and delivered on time and arrived in perfect condition.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Sparse instructions

it disables outgoing calls every day and i have.

it drops outgoing calls every day and I have to restart Grandstream every day. I emailed tech support and asked if there was a tech I could call to troubleshoot the issue. They said we don't have any technical calls to end users, I asked what the problem could be and they gave me a long list that I can't solve.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Works great with Flash PBX

I had a small office to set up a phone system. They have very bad DSL so I wanted to use the FXO gateway to bring in POTS lines. The GrandStream GXW4108 is very complex with tons of different options. It's poorly documented and not easy to set up, but with lots of tutorials and bugs I got it working with a flash PBX. Yes, it can be configured so that calls coming in on selected ports only ring the selected call groups. You can also choose which channel/line each outgoing call uses. It works…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Bad experience

Good for small businesses, but only if you really know what you're doing.

It was excellent for my small business. Three traditional phone lines are connected to this device, which are then routed to our local network to power the Elastix phone server. However, it's a bit pricey for what it does. My guess is that there just aren't enough hardware vendors out there for these types of products, so they might charge extra. Configuration can be a nightmare if you don't know exactly what you're doing, but lately firmware has gotten better. Update. However, this may not be…

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Weight
