The rubber sleeve that covers the extension can be longer to cover the entire adapter. One of the screw holes had to be recut.

It fits great and is easy to fit without your signal switch rubbing. Also bought a Grant 3565 installation kit and vintage Grant 838 steering wheel for my 1973 VW Baja Bug.

Received on time. The quality of the piece was C- at best, the bolt threads were set at an angle, causing the horn ring to jam. I had to clamp it in a vise and tighten the screws a bit.

I had to use this on my Ghia to get a sub wheel to clean the turn signals and wiper arms. ended up about 1/4 further from camp but that's ok. The quality is good, beautiful and durable. I had to scrape the paint off under one of the beveled screws to get the horn to work.

This adapter is good but it would be nice if Grant supplied a variety of extensions. Those two inches were TOO MUCH for my application. An inch, an inch and a half, etc. would make it easier to find the perfect setting. Make sure you want a full two inches of extension before jumping on it!

Although everything arrived ok, the product itself was not manufactured correctly. The misalignment of the three screw holes is so bad that my bike rotates about 30° clockwise. And YES, I know what I'm doing. I have mounted many wheels on cars. Everything is synced correctly. The screw holes were not aligned when drilled and tapped at the factory.

Good fit and no problem installing. To be precise: It consists of 3 main parts: a bare metal part (stamped for offset) that fits in place of your old steering wheel + a plastic sleeve that slides around this metal part (tapered, smaller). on the side of the steering column) + a black metal plate (seen in the picture with three screws above) that connects the bare metal part to the steering wheel. Don't expect to remove the plastic sleeve to see the giant shiny piece formed, it's not designed…
