It works! Computers & Accessories

I bought this because my power supply only had a 6 pin PCIE connector when I needed two. Works, but only with decent power supplies. Make sure your power supply can supply enough current for the 12V rail before attempting this. Surprisingly many power supplies from other manufacturers only output 5.6V to the 12V rail and this can result in the graphics card you are running this with not even booting when trying this item.

Bricked up my setup. - Computer cable adapter

Used these to power my racks with a 1600w PSU. The total output power of the device is 930 watts, so it cannot be due to insufficient power. Rig is not mine. Removed extension cord and it worked fine again. Not sure what the problem is, but it didn't work with the Super Flower cables that came with the power supply.

They work in the computer cable adapter

I bought these because I was upgrading my GPU to an RX 570 and needed an 8 pin header. My PSU didn't have that, so I bought this one. They work well and look at least halfway decent (every day I use black and yellow instead of ketchup and mustard). My only complaint is that they feel like if I pull the plug the wrong way the wire can pop out. I really want them to wrap the wires in sleeves or tape them up, anything, they sit a little open. I plan to wrap them in sleeves to make them look niceโ€ฆ

This worked for me for computer cable adapter

I bought this because my Seasonic G Series 360w PSU didn't have 2 PCIE slots. I recently bought a Sapphire RX 570 Nitro+ and needed two PCIE slots which the 450 Seasonic G series has but not mine. I hooked them up and they work great. I'm still way below what I call the 360 watt PSU max, which is about an 82-89% effective range. 310 watts is the highest I would choose for the overall system load. At max total power I'm way below. I couldn't reproduce but used a manufacturer TDP of 280. Theโ€ฆ
